Measure the height of the seat cushion in normal use, then compare the selected table height. Mark the width and depth on the floor without assuming the photograph shows its true scale. Check the path to the door and any space needed to extend a footrest. A round top and an oval top may both soften the outline, but they occupy different footprints. What happens under the top?
Review shelf clearance separately from overall height. An item that fits the outer dimensions may not fit between shelves or inside a drawer. Read the exact construction for the product rather than transferring a measurement from a similar table. Keep a bedside lamp's cable route in mind without assuming a cable channel is supplied.
Materials, plainly described.
Veneered panels and solid legs are different components. Read the material record for the complete piece rather than inferring an all-solid construction from the finish. Clean with a damp cloth and dry where the product care instructions specify it; protect the surface from standing water.
Plan for assembly.
